Have you ever watched the news or read a paper, where it has informed you that the latest cyber terrorist or computer hacker has been caught? And then gone on to wonder, why it is they do what they do? I mean, what possible benefit can they get out of it? If so, I doubt at the time you could come up with many conclusive theories. This mainly being because the term Hacker, is so misconstrued in modern day times, that the majority of the public, think only of the name in relation to cyber terrorism, fraud and attacks on servers and websites worldwide. This is mainly because this is the image the media puts out on Hackers; therefore you generate a view, an opinion, based on someone else’s perspective. Hopefully using and understanding this book, you will begin to realise that, a Hacker isn’t this at all, and someone who truly believes this to be the case, truly hasn’t met a real hacker, or hasn’t attempted to understand one.
And now I ask the same question in regards to Religion, why do followers choose to dedicate and devote themselves to a Religion? Now I’m assuming, with Religion being a lot more publicized, and generally gets more media attention. That you could in fact come up with some theories for this. Some of which may be the following: Faith, Motivation, Belief, Purpose, Meaning or Hope. When people believe in a Religion, they almost never believe in something physical, the Religion almost never has a physical God walking around in which they can see, smell and touch. But rather the Religion teaches you to have faith, and believe in the spiritual God(s), and their teachings.
And now, by using this book, I intend to show you the Religion, in and around the world of Computer Hacking. I intend to open the door, to a new world, to allow you to see things in a new light, from another aspect. This is Computer Hacking from my perspective; The Gods, the followers and the teachings.
